October 5-6: Mississippi John Hurt Festival, either in Avalon or Carrollton, Mississippi. That is one of the things in flux.

October 7: Go North with Eleanor Ellis, ending at Bill Ellis’s in N. Ferrisburg by October 9, where we will rehearse some material to do, teach and record. Bill will have us in some of his classes, and we will be shuttling around to some 1-6 grade schools in the North Country. Exact dates are still uncertain for this. We’ll probably record some during the early time. However:

November 1: Rose Chancler, organizer of Piano by Nature up in Elizabethton, NY, is doing a Dinner With Andy! Michael should be proud!

November 2-3: Piano By Nature, with Bill and Eleanor.

Sometime in here we might do a gig at an Underground Railroad Museum, and of course Bill is going to have us in some of his classes. There might be a church gig, Gospel music in there too.

November 8th: House concert in Philadelphia at Ann Mintz’s house. We’ll also do a house concert in Brattleboro for Scott Ainslie sometime in here. NB: Elijah Wald lives in Philly, as do Ari Eisinger and Rolly Brown, so with Bill and me, there’s a chance for a guitar summit.

November 20: Caffe Lena Visiting Artist Series (gigs around Saratoga during the day)

November 21: Bill, Eleanor and I play at Caffe Lena. This will be my last gig on this tour. Bill will drive back to Vermont and Eleanor and I will go back to Memphis, or possible, her home in Amite, LA.
